But in BSE site ,it is displayed the execution date to be 2-Sep. Please clarify/advise as to when we have to buy the shares for this company to get the dividend?
It was not a cause of worry but was trying to understand the concept of Ex-date. Thanks for the blog...was in search of such type of blog for dividends :)
Its my pleasure that I am able to solve your search problem. Ex-date is the last date to register as a member. If you purchase the share till ex-date you will be eligible to get Dividend. Execution date is the date on which Company starts distributing Dividends.
